The Project
Linz Heritage Angus and Meats by Linz have a rich origin story to tell. Grounded in hard work, family, and generational wisdom, this premium steak purveyor asked WeCreate to bring their values to life on film. After completing a recent rebrand project for LHA and MBL, WeCreate was perfectly poised to turn their brand positioning efforts into a cinematic brand story. The key messaging needed to center around LHA’s commitment to quality, and their conception to plate business model. And who better to tell that story but the Linz family members themselves.
The next challenge became capturing the Linz team in an equally cinematic, but still authentic way. Their luscious Oklahoma ranch made this task much easier to accomplish. We structured our shoot around a typical day on the ranch. It started with early mornings, a pot of fresh coffee, and saddling up the horses. The afternoons included cattle herding and fence mending. The days ended with grilling and a glass of whiskey at sunset. Cold Box Films worked their magic by hiring a strong camera team, selecting an Arri Alexa with vintage lenses, and staying nimble with scheduling. Oklahoma weather can be unpredictable, especially in May. Our shoot week was no different. We faced major rain storms and tornado threats, and still, we accomplished our shot list AND more!
